About Me

Welcome to Babymoon Boutique- The Home of Ridiculously Cute Stuff!

Babymoon Boutique was inspired after my fifth baby was born when I decided I wanted to open my own business. Previously I had been working for a local boutique, truly testing the limits of my sewing skills, and I knew then I was ready to branch out on my own!

A babymoon is that sweet time when a mother, and family, welcomes the newest little addition to their home. It is a time of gentleness, reflection, love and peace, and it is these qualities I strive to incorporate in all of my products. The time with a newborn is so very precious and short, but so incredibly powerful in the life and growth of a new mother. Supporting new moms is one of my dear passions in real life, and the bonds I've made with dear friends through my former work with la leche leage will last forever.

As a business, I focus on making beautiful products that truly have a family vibe for all life stages. Many of my customers appreciate that like them, I am working at home, with a handful of children underfoot doing everything I can to support my family and set a good example. My job is to maintain personal integrity, excellence in my business services, and a fantastic product at all times. While I am the owner, operator and artisan behind Babymoon, I am proud to say I'm fully supported by my husband and nine kids (who sometimes double as product testers!). My products are available online through my Etsy and Facebook storefrontas well as through local events! Stay connected by following me on Facebook and Instagram!

I’ve been sewing as long as I can remember, and it is no stretch to say that sewing is in my bones. Literally. When I was a child, my mother and my grandmothers were excellent seamstresses and let me create with them my whole life growing up. At some point in my life, while under their guidance, I must have slipped away and stepped on a needle…because some twenty years later an X-ray revealed one embedded deep in my foot! This caused a minor panic in the ER, but it was painless, and had been present for years so I opted not to have surgery. That needle remains with me even now as a very special connection to my craft. When I make something new, I really am thinking about where it will end up and who will be using it. I want my products to bring happiness to their owners, and when I make a custom item I feel a special connection to the customer. I am so especially grateful for the trust they put in me to execute their idea.  I want to thank you for taking the time to learn about Babymoon Boutique, and welcome any questions, concerns or compliments.
